Man-Tous


Sichuan cooking started the trend – serving buns called ‘yi chun juan’ with their food. The then Red House, overwhelmed by popular demand, started serving bread to go with our scrumptious Chilli Crabs. In the beginning, we served bread bought from bakeries. Everything was fine until Chinese New Year where we encountered closed bakery after bakery. The result? No bread to go with our Chilli Crabs. Not one to disappoint customers, the restaurant owner decided to create a filler snack and had it custom-made from a supplier. And this is how Man-Tous found their way to being the perfect complement for Chilli Crabs!
